Vietnam drops COVID-19 test requirement for foreign arrivals from May 15

Vietnam will drop the COVID-19 test requirement for guests getting into the country starting from May 15 as the pandemic has been brought under control.
The move came as the quantity of COVID-19 cases in Vietnam has decreased considerably since March 15 this year.

Vietnam has reduced the number of COVID-19 deaths, severe cases and hospitalisations admissions. Whereas several countries in the same region have also relaxed COVID-19 curbs and existing vaccines are still effective against completely different variants of the coronavirus, foreigners getting Vietnam are still needed to gift a negative Covid test result. The tourists wish Vietnam can presently stop Covid check at entry.
Previously, Vietnam dropped health declaration requirements for foreign arrivals from April 27 and COVID-19 vaccine certificates and quarantine requirements from March 16 shortly after it reopened tourism for international visitors.
